He left England Oct. 7, 1842 and migrated to Nauvoo, in the ship "Emerald" in
company with Parley P. Pratt. His wife joined him in October 1843.
In the spring of 1850 he left Council Bluffs, in route to Utah, he crossed
the plains in Bishop Edward Hunter's company. He reached Salt Lake City on
October 4, 1850.
They moved to Tooele in March 1852. Then they moved to Salt Lake City in
October 1852, they then moved to Grantsville in 1958. Then in 1865 they moved
to Riverton.
